The MIBAC (Italian Ministry for Cultural Assets and Heritage) can count a total of 23,314 assets in its archives relating to the cultural heritage of the province of Ancona: 79 museum facilities associated with the Museum System of the Province of Ancona; 47 municipalities comprising the territory of Marca Anconetana, each of which expresses their own culture and folklore in the life and events of every day, preserving the image of their origins in the architecture.
